2 – What ?
Cycling 3,000KM’s from Indore, Madhya Pradesh to Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Hitch-Hiking Back to Indore.
3 – What is hitch hiking?
Hitch-hiking is an interesting means of travel in which you reach your destination by getting free lifts in passing vehicles. And Yes! One does not pay for it.
So Hitch-Hiking can be concluded as a mean of transport that is gained by asking people usually strangers, for a ride in their automobile or other road vehicle.
4 – Why Cycling ?
Passion: i love to cycle, i love cycling on long highways, i feel alive while cycling.
To learn: there are good people on highways, never say never, the cup of knowledge is filled one drop at a time.
To Gain: Confidence, Strength, Courage, Power, Health.
To spend time with myself: while on cycle you are alone and you get time to know yourself even better; you get chance to rediscover yourself. you learn about your strengths & weaknesses & this is how i improve myself.
5 – Why Hitch-Hiking ?
To learn: there is something more powerful than money, there are good people on highways, never say never, the cup of knowledge is filled one drop at a time.
To live: to live my dream, to do what I love, to be a happy human, to feel alive.
To Understand & Explore: Religion, Language, People, Mindset, Geography, History, Business, Problems, Transportation, etc.
To discover, learn, network, explore and talk more in real. While hitch-hiking you meet a lot of local people and get a time to talk to them and listen to their stories and experiences, you get to experience the real India. You get good and bad experiences that prepare you for future & personally I get to travel which I love the most. I like to push the limits & change the rules. People say money is everything but I personally feel behaviour, nature, humbleness, love is more powerful than that and you can do anything if you have these. So for me travelling is a way of learning & living being happy.
6 – What Cause am i supporting ?
Throughout this journey of one month; i am awaring people about the importance of education. As i travel on highways and across lots of villages so i get to meet different people to whom education still holds not much importance and as a social activist i take it as an opportunity to make a positive change in someone’s life by explaining them the importance of education in today’s world and making them opt for it.
